How do I know if I need this filter?
If you use a reverse osmosis system, use distilled water, or have to low TDS content in your supply water this is the filter you need. If your source water is below 50 total deposited sediment (TDS) you need the Echo Remineralization Filter for the Echo 7. If your area is above 50 TDS and you have an Echo 7 you need the Echo Replacement Filter for the Echo 7. In areas of TDS higher than 200, it is recommended to clean your machine with an Echo Cleaning Cartridge for Echo 7.
